Nishantha Sanjeewa Rathnayaka

Nishantha Sanjeewa Rathnayaka is an accomplished chef with extensive experience in the culinary field, currently serving as a Chef at Tap & Barrel Group since April 2023. Prior to this role, Nishantha held the position of Chef De Cuisine at JA Resorts & Hotels from October 2021 to April 2023 and worked as a Sous Chef at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi from September 2018 to October 2021. Additional experience includes Sous Chef roles at Sofitel and Chef de Partie positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Pullman Hotels & Resorts. Early career stages include positions as Demi Chef de Partie at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation and various cooking roles at Hilton Worldwide and Villa Hotels & Resorts. Nishantha holds a Diploma in International Cookery from WinStone School of Culinary Art, complemented by a GCE (A/L) in Business/Commerce from Galagedara National School.
