Chetan Sukuru has extensive experience in research informatics and data analytics. Chetan is currently working at Tango Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Research Informatics, where they lead a team responsible for developing innovative informatics applications for drug discovery programs. Prior to this, Chetan worked at Amgen as a Senior Manager in Research Informatics and at FORMA Therapeutics, Inc. as a Senior Manager in R&D Information Sciences. Chetan has also worked at Pfizer as a Principal Scientist and at Novartis as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Chetan started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Michigan State University and has also held positions at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur and Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Overall, they have demonstrated a strong track record of successfully delivering informatics solutions for important enterprise projects throughout their career.

Chetan Sukuru earned a B.Tech (Hons) degree in Biotechnology & Biochemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2002. Chetan then pursued a Ph.D. in Computer-Aided Drug Design at Michigan State University from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Applied Data Science Program from MIT Professional Education in 2023, Python for Managers from Columbia Business School Executive Education in 2021, and Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills from Coursera in 2020.
