Kamen Petrov is a cheminformatics scientist currently employed at Terray Therapeutics, with previous experience as an AI/Cheminformatics intern at Pangea Bio, where Kamen trained a transformer model and supported early-stage drug discovery. Kamen's academic background includes a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, where a multi-task ligand-target prediction model was developed as part of a research project. Additional experience includes roles as a machine learning consultant at Dunad Therapeutics, junior software consultant at TNG Technology Consulting, and computational biochemistry research intern in Prof. Syma Khalid's group at the University of Oxford. Kamen has worked on expanding knowledge through educational content collaboration at Ucha.se and has conducted chemistry experiments as a research assistant at Sofia University.
