Amelia Brown is a seasoned water resource management professional with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as the Demand Management Program Manager at Tampa Bay Water since January 2020, Amelia is responsible for implementing a ten-year demand management program aimed at achieving an 11 MGD water savings by 2030 in collaboration with local municipalities. Prior roles include Sr. Water Resources Analyst at Western Resource Advocates, where Amelia developed partnerships and programs focused on water conservation, and Junior Specialist II at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis, coordinating interdisciplinary research initiatives. Earlier career experiences include project management at Patagonia, assisting in the development of a water footprint methodology, as well as positions at the Natural Resources Defense Council, Grand St. Settlement, and Poly Prep County Day School. Amelia holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management with a focus on Water Resources Management from the Bren School, University of California, Santa Barbara, and a BA in Physics from Vassar College.
