Kyle Abbott is a seasoned geotechnical engineering professional with extensive experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Talison Lithium since March 2018, Kyle previously held the position of Geotechnical Engineer at Newmont Corporation from January 2016 to March 2018. Prior to that, Kyle contributed to MMG Limited as the Geotechnical & Hydrogeology Lead for a Sulphide Pre-Feasibility Study while also working as a Geotechnical Engineer there from December 2009 to December 2015. Kyle's career began at Zinifex, where responsibilities included roles as a Mine Surveyor and Graduate Mine Surveyor from February 2007 to December 2009. Academic qualifications include a Master of Mining Engineering (Geomechanics) from UNSW and a Bachelor of Geomatic Engineering (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.
