Raphael Stein is an experienced Application Engineer at STEINERT GmbH since October 2018, providing technical consultation in waste and scrap metal recycling, conducting customer tests, and creating sorting programs for advanced sensors. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Research Assistant at the Department of Processing and Recycling, focusing on sensor-based sorting of non-ferrous metal concentrates, as well as a Visiting Researcher at VITO, where research centered on selective fragmentation techniques for concrete waste. Raphael Stein holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by an Erasmus Programme experience in Civil Engineering at The University of Sheffield.
