Ellie Nawara has a diverse work experience in technology-related roles. Ellie currently serves as the Vice President of Technology at Syntelic Solutions Corporation since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at OPIS for six years, starting from May 2013, where they held the positions of Sr Software Developer, Team Lead, and Project & Staff Manager. At OPIS, Ellie developed software for web-based applications, gathered requirements, and created project plans. Ellie also provided mentorship and guidance to other developers.

Before OPIS, Ellie worked at Marriott International as a Sr Programmer/Analyst from August 2012 to April 2013. In this role, they provided production support and code enhancements for a global pricing engine. Ellie also had interactions with business clients and collaborated with the development team to resolve bugs and plan application expansions.

Prior to that, Ellie worked at iXplosive Designs for a significant part of their career, starting in 1996. At iXplosive Designs, they served as a Web Developer and was responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining multiple websites for clients. Ellie also worked as a 3D Animator and CG Specialist, managing their personal business specializing in 3D modeling and animation.

Ellie also had experience as a Sr Software Developer at Information Concepts in 2004, where they expanded a .NET C# application for a client. Additionally, they had a previous role as a Sr Programmer/Analyst at Marriott International from June 2001 to July 2004, where they maintained and expanded a large corporate pricing engine website.

In 1999, Ellie worked as a 3D Animator and Video Editor at the Medical Automation Research Center. Ellie modeled, animated, and edited product concept videos and completed animation projects for industry leaders.

Ellie Nawara began their education in 1997 at the McIntire Business Institute at the University of Virginia, where they pursued a BS degree in Management Information Systems/Computer Science. Ellie completed this program in 2001. During the same time period, they also studied at the University of Virginia and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Management Information Systems, with a focus on General studies.
