Brian Cavanaugh, AIA NCARB, serves as Vice President at Huitt-Zollars, Inc. since January 2023 and is a Principal and Co-Founder of Architecture Building Culture, which emphasizes a collaborative design approach that enhances the cultural context of clients. Previously, Brian held leadership roles at Otak and Works Progress Architecture, LLP, and contributed as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oregon's Department of Architecture. Notable community involvement includes serving as President of the Board for both The Center for Architecture and AIA Portland, as well as membership on the Seattle Design Review Board. Brian holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon, along with additional studies at the Mackintosh School of Architecture.
