John Benca CSP has over 16 years of experience in health and safety roles. John is currently the Director of Health & Safety at Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager of Health & Safety at ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages, LLC from July 2018 to May 2022. Before that, they served as the Safety Manager North America at Harsco Corporation from November 2014 to July 2018 and as a Health Safety Specialist at Harsco Corporation from November 2011 to 2014. John started their career as a Safety & Health Representative at Vulcan Materials Company from July 2006 to November 2011.

John Benca CSP attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Safety Management.
