Vivia Bamford has extensive experience in library and information services, currently serving as Library Manager at Suffolk Libraries since June 2010, overseeing a library located in a historic courthouse. Vivia has also been involved with Sciapod Ltd since June 2010, focusing on foraging and the history of Suffolk cheese through events and demonstrations. Previously, Vivia worked as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and Librarian at a primary school from June 2009 to June 2020, fostering a supportive learning environment for children of all ages. Prior to transitioning into the education and library sectors, Vivia held the position of Head of Business Systems and Resilience at NHS Suffolk from November 1983 to May 2009, managing various areas including information management and emergency planning. Vivia holds a BSc in Podiatry from the University of Brighton.
