Rob Murphy is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in hotel operations and management. Currently serving as Vice President of Hotel Operations at Suburban Capital since May 2018, Rob oversees operations for both existing and developing hotels. Previous roles include General Manager of the Glass Light Hotel and Gallery, where leadership was demonstrated in a boutique setting, and as the Opening General Manager of the Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Town Center, achieving high RevPAR performance. Rob has a successful track record at multiple properties, consistently improving performance metrics and enhancing guest satisfaction. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Virginia Tech.
