Ishita Shah serves as a Board Member at Style Their Empowered (S H E) since February 2020, contributing to education and employment initiatives for girls and women in Togo, Africa. In addition, Ishita is the Director of Catalytic Capital at Align Impact, where leadership focuses on mobilizing investments that promote climate justice, racial justice, and food system sustainability. Previous roles include Associate Director and Associate within Catalytic Capital at NewSchools Venture Fund, where strategy development for PreK-12 education improvements was key. Other notable positions include Director of Strategic Initiatives at New Classrooms and Associate in Education Consulting at Huron. Ishita's early career involved impact investing internships at MacArthur Foundation and Mercy Corps, along with a fellowship at Education Pioneers. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Impact Investing and Social Entrepreneurship from Duke University and a B.S. in Finance and International Business from the University of Maryland.
