Christoph Maier is a Master of Science candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, with a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same institution. Currently, Christoph serves as a Thesis Student at MTU Aero Engines, focusing on additive manufacturing research. Previously, Christoph worked as a Working Student in Product Management at EOS, where responsibilities included revising machine documentation and conducting market analysis for 3D printing systems. At the Technische Universität München, Christoph gained experience as a Student Assistant in two chairs, contributing to the design and manufacturing of a topology optimized demonstrator part and tutoring in machine drawing and computer-aided design. Additionally, a Production Planning Internship at BMW Group involved the development of analytical tools and process data optimization. An earlier Engineering Internship at CIM med GmbH further rounded out Christoph's practical experience.
