Calvin Ying is a Principal Engineer in CAD at Stryker, with a focus on advancing engineering practices since August 2021. Prior to this role, Calvin worked as a Consultant at CADSULTANT from July 2017 to August 2021, providing CAD and PLM consulting services, developing custom software for automating design processes, and ensuring design compliance to enhance quality. Calvin also held positions at Stryker as a Senior CAD Systems Engineer from January 2014 to April 2017, and spent many years at Alcatel-Lucent holding multiple roles as an Application Engineer and at AT&T / Lucent Technologies / Bell Labs as a Mechanical Designer. Calvin earned a degree from the University of Arizona between 1998 and 2002.
