Bilal Akmal began their work experience in 2014 at MicroTech Industries as a software design engineer, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, they joined Strategic Systems International as a Senior Software Engineering, and later became a Principal Software Engineer in September 2020.

Bilal Akmal began their education in 2006 at CFH School, where they completed their Matric degree in Sciences in 2008. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they attended Govt. Islamia College Civil Lines, where they pursued a degree in FSc with a focus on Pre-Engineering. In 2010, Bilal enrolled at the University of the Punjab, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science (B.S.C.S) degree in Computer Science, completing their studies in 2014.

Additionally, Bilal has obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in January 2022.
