Supriya Karkra has several years of work experience, primarily at Strand Life Sciences. Supriya started at the company in 2009 as an Application Associate and then moved on to roles such as QA Engineer, Scientist, Senior Software QA Engineer, and finally Software QA Team Lead. In addition to their time at Strand Life Sciences, Supriya also worked as a Junior Research Fellow at the Directorate of Wheat Research and as a Project Trainee at JawaharLal Nehru University. Throughout their career, Supriya has gained experience in various areas such as bioinformatics, research, and software quality assurance.

Supriya Karkra completed their education in the field of Bioinformatics. Supriya earned a BSc degree in Bioinformatics from Kurukshetra University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they pursued an M.Sc. degree in Bioinformatics from Banasthali University, completing their studies from 2007 to 2009.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Supriya Karkra has also obtained certifications in Project Management. Supriya completed the "Project Management Foundations" and "Project Management Foundations: Ethics" certifications from LinkedIn in July 2023.
