Tobias Metz is an experienced engineering manager and scientist with a strong background in hardware engineering and fluid mechanics. Currently serving as Manager of Hardware Engineering for Autosamplers at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Tobias has previously held roles such as Hardware Engineer/Senior Scientist in HPLC and Assistant Technical Manager at DENSO. Additionally, experience includes positions as Development Engineer in Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics at ebm-papst Deutschland, Project Leader for Lab-on-Chip Foundry Service at Hahn-Schickard, and Research Associate/PhD Candidate at the University of Freiburg. Tobias Metz holds a Doctorate in Microsystem Technology from The University of Freiburg and a Diplom in Geophysics and Seismology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
