Shrestha Das has work experience in multiple companies and roles. In 2018, they worked as a Summer Intern at Natural Remedies Private Limited and later at the National Institute of Biomedical Genomics. In 2020, they were a Member of the Coronavirus Webinar Series (CoV-WS). Shrestha then joined the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB) in 2019 as an MSc Student and continued until 2021. Currently, they are working as an Application Scientist at Strand Life Sciences.

Shrestha Das completed their Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology from the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB) between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology, which they attended from 2015 to 2019. Shrestha also completed their Higher Secondary education in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Delhi Public School, Kalinga between 2013 and 2014.
