Wen Allen Tseng is a Principal Scientist at Strand Therapeutics since October 2021, focusing on the development of advanced mRNA therapeutics utilizing synthetic biology to selectively target and destroy cancer cells. Previously, Wen served as a Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist at Solid Biosciences from September 2018 to October 2021, addressing the challenges of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Wen's earlier experience includes a Postdoctoral Associate position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from October 2014 to September 2018, where expertise in genetic systems and gene expression control was developed. Wen completed a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Harvard University from 2007 to 2014, investigating the NLRP3 inflammasome's role in retinal diseases, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware in 2007.
