Yanping Lu is a seasoned researcher and developer with extensive experience in machine learning, natural language processing, and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Applied Research Scientist at Stradigi AI since October 2018, Yanping conducts experiments on advanced pre-trained language models. Previously, as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Nebula AI Inc., from January 2017 to September 2018, Yanping specialized in sentiment analysis, machine translation, and time series forecasting. Prior to this, experience included software development at Hitachi ID Systems and an academic role as an Assistant Professor at Xiamen University, where Yanping focused on machine learning algorithms and has multiple publications in prestigious AI journals. Yanping holds a PhD in Machine Learning and Data Mining from Université de Sherbrooke and another PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Xiamen University, along with degrees in Computer Science and Computer Software Engineering.
