Michael Parente has a robust background in information technology spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Information Technology at Stevens Institute of Technology since July 2009, Michael has held multiple roles within the institution, including Director of Enterprise Information Systems and Database Administrator. Prior experience includes a position as Database Administrator/Analyst at Citi Hedge Fund Services/Bisys from February 2006 to July 2009, and systems-related roles at Stevens Institute of Technology starting as a Systems Administrator from August 2003 to February 2006, and as a Support Analyst from June 2002 to May 2003. Earlier career experiences include positions at Control Associates, Inc. as an Engineering Assistant and Systems Analyst Assistant in 1999 and 2001, respectively. Michael holds advanced degrees in Networked Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, where studies were completed from 2003 to 2005 and 1999 to 2003, respectively. Lastly, Michael graduated from Bergen Catholic High School in 1999.
