Chitra Gola has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Chitra started their most recent position as an Assistant Manager of Sales and Business Development at Sterlite Power in November 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Engineer at KEC International Ltd. from February 2016 to October 2019. Before that, they worked as a Project Sales Engineer at ADH Services Private Limited from January 2014 to December 2015.

Chitra Gola started their education at Hamdard Public School, where they studied Biology/Biological Sciences from 1994 to 2006 and obtained their 10th-grade certificate from CBSE. Chitra then attended SSSVV from 2006 to 2008, completing their 10+2 education with a focus on Biology/Biological Sciences. Chitra then pursued further studies at GGSIPU from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians.
