Matthew Swedberg

Vice President Sales & Marketing at Identified Technologies

Matthew Swedberg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matthew started their career at GE, where they worked as a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt. During this time, they implemented Lean Manufacturing concepts and led improvement projects that resulted in increased efficiency and reduced costs.

Swedberg then moved on to Harsco Corporation, where they held multiple positions. As the Director of Global Best Practices, they collaborated with customers and used agile project management to develop new products and drive ongoing improvements. Matthew later served as the Director of Engineering, overseeing the development of robotic solutions and managing field engineering staff. Swedberg also held the role of Director of Business Transformation, where they implemented research projects and directed a team responsible for startup contracts.

Following their time at Harsco Corporation, Swedberg joined the National Robotics Engineering Center as a Technical Project Manager. In this role, they worked with multi-disciplinary teams to execute sponsored research projects, ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction.

Most recently, Swedberg worked at ACS Industries, Inc. and Identified Technologies as a Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In both companies, they were responsible for driving sales growth and overseeing marketing strategies.

Throughout their career, Swedberg has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. Matthew'sexperience spans various industries, including manufacturing, robotics, and technology.

Matthew Swedberg obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their education, they also obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from GE in December 2004.
