Rob Esser is an experienced accounting professional with a diverse background in cost accounting and financial analysis within manufacturing environments. Currently serving as Cost Accounting Manager at Stepan Company since April 2008, Rob leads the Corporate Cost Accounting Department and oversees product costing, month-end and year-end close processes, and financial statement audits. Previous roles include Senior Financial Accounting Analyst and Senior Cost Accountant at Stepan Company, Vice President of Unemployment at Wig Out Works, Inc., and assorted positions at Newark Electronics, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Moore USA, and Glenn Ingram & Company. Rob holds an Accounting degree from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
