Thien Duc Tran has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Thien Duc began their career in 1997 as a Research Chemist at Sanofi-Aventis. In 1998 they moved to Pfizer as a Project Leader. In 2011 they joined PregLem SA as a Global Project Director/NCD Project Manager, Product Development and Manufacturing. In 2013 they were promoted to Director, Drug Development, NCD & CMC at Prexton Therapeutics. In 2014 they moved to Arisgen SA as Preclinical & PhI Senior Director. In 2015 they joined Prexton Therapeutics SA as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Director, Drug Development, CMC/NCD/PhaseI. That same year they also joined EspeRare foundation as Translational Project Leader. In 2018 they moved to Lundbeck, Geneva Site as Chief Operating Officer. In 2020 they joined Step Pharma as Chief Development Officer (CDO) and Chief Operating Officer, and also founded T2D Consulting SARL.
Thien Duc Tran obtained a Grandes Ecoles d'Ingénieurs from ESPCI Paris - PSL between 1994 and 1998, studying Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Thien Duc then went on to obtain a DEA (Master's degree) from Universite Paris VI in Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry between 1997 and 1998. In 2011, they obtained a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner from the Office of Government Commerce in the UK in Project Management.
