Emily Ackerman currently serves as Vice President and Head of US Patient Access Solutions at EMD Serono, Inc. since April 2021, previously holding the position of Head of Strategy within the same department. Prior to this, Emily worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as Patient Services Program Manager for Hematology & Launch Strategy, where responsibilities included the strategy and implementation of Patient Services for the Hematology franchise. Emily's career began at Celgene, where Emily held several roles, culminating in Senior Manager of Patient Support Operations and Launch Strategy, leading a team focused on enhancing customer satisfaction and expediting therapy access. Earlier experience includes working as a Social Worker at NYPH Weill Cornell, supporting General Medicine and Cardiothoracic Surgery. Emily holds a Master of Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
