Joanna Holmes, PHR, SHRM-CP has a comprehensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Starting in 2006 at NIHFCU as a Human Resources & Benefits Administrator, they then served as a Human Resources Manager at IMTAS from 2009 to 2014, overseeing HR operations for a staff of about 200 employees. After that, they worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Intelligent Fiscal Optimal Solutions, where they developed corporate policies and managed various HR activities. Joanna then joined Posterity Group, LLC as a Human Resources Generalist in 2014 before moving to Wilson Technologies Inc as a Sr. HR Generalist from 2015 to 2016.
In 2016, Joanna joined BayFirst Solutions LLC as a Sr. HR Generalist, and later took on the roles of Human Resources Manager from 2019 to 2020, and Human Resources Director from 2020 to the present. At BayFirst Solutions, they were responsible for a wide range of HR responsibilities, including benefits administration, recruiting, employee relations, and payroll.
Currently, Joanna works as a Human Resources Director at SteelPointSolutions, where they continue to utilize their expertise in HR management. Through their various roles, Joanna has demonstrated their ability to effectively handle multiple HR functions and work closely with professionals at different levels, including executives, brokers, insurers, and vendors. Their experience spans areas such as benefits administration, onboarding, compensation, and policy development.
Joanna Holmes, PHR, SHRM-CP holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications from HRCI and SHRM. In October 2020, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI. Furthermore, in February 2015, they obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
