Rantje Looft has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Rantje started their career as an Advertising Executive at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH, where they completed an apprenticeship from August 2004 to June 2006.
Following this, they worked as a Junior Account Executive at Schaffhausen Advertising GmbH from December 2006 to May 2007.
Rantje then joined Transcend Information Trading GmbH as a Marketing Team Leader in July 2007, where they were responsible for yearly marketing budget planning, tradeshow organization, PR, Channel Marketing, and Online Marketing. Rantje directly reported to the general management during their time there and stayed until February 2011.
In 2011, Rantje Looft joined the University of Applied Sciences Flensburg, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Rantje studied there from March 2011 to February 2014.
After completing their studies, Rantje Looft moved on to Statista in July 2013, where they initially worked as a Marketing Manager and later as a Senior Marketing Manager until December 2016. Following this, they took on the role of Trainee Mentor from February 2015 to January 2017. After that, they became the Head of Marketing Communications from January 2017 to January 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Strategic Data Partnerships at Statista, starting in January 2020.
Rantje Looft obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in BWL/Marketing from the University of Applied Sciences Flensburg. This education took place from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, in 2013, Rantje Looft participated in a Mixed Erasmus program at Munster Technological University, where the major was Marketing. As part of this program, Rantje Looft also took courses related to Irish Studies, in addition to the marketing courses.
