Cara Huygen is an experienced professional in the fields of social services and education, currently serving as the Coördinator Kinderarmoede at Stad Menen since August 2020, where coordination of multiple child welfare projects is a key responsibility. Previously, Cara held the position of Projectcoördinator Sociale dienst and Regisseur decreet BOA within the same organization. Prior experience includes managing the JOBexpo project at Auxilios, which focused on employment readiness for final-year students, and serving as a Psycho pedagogisch consulent at VCLB De Wissel, overseeing educational support across four primary schools in Antwerp. Cara holds a Master's degree in Pedagogische Wetenschappen from Ghent University and has pursued additional training through VCLB Koepel and Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen.
