Jia Liu is a seasoned professional in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, currently serving as Principal Scientist and Associate Director in the Late Phase Analytical Development Department at STA Pharmaceutical, a WuXi AppTec Company, since October 2021. Previously, Jia worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar and Staff Research Associate III in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at the University of California, San Francisco, from April 2018 to September 2021. Prior to that, Jia gained research experience as a Research Assistant in the Department of Occupational Health at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital from July 2013 to October 2017. Jia holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Natural Products Chemistry and Pharmacognosy from the Shanghai Institute of Material Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Southern Medical University.
