Lisa Verhagen has worked in a variety of roles since 2005. Lisa started as a Facilitair employée at Rivas Zorggroep in 2005, then moved on to a Research Technician at Intravacc in 2012. In 2012, they also began a Msc. Internship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. In 2011, they began a Msc. Thesis Virology at Wageningen University. Most recently, in 2021, they began a Sr. Research Associate role at LAVA Therapeutics N.V.

Lisa Verhagen completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology from Wageningen University & Research between 2007 and 2010. Lisa then went on to complete a Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Biotechnology from the same university between 2010 and 2012.
