Robert Agren has extensive experience in the steel industry and aerospace sectors, currently serving as Manager of Group Internal Audit and holding the Six Sigma Lean Blackbelt title at SSAB since October 1997. Agren has achieved over $18 million in project savings through data-driven process improvements utilizing Six Sigma methodology. Previous roles at SSAB include Project Engineer and Heat Treat Shift Coordinator, focusing on process control and improvement, and Meltshop Operator, involved in various steel-making processes. Prior to SSAB, Agren served as a Flight Engineer in the US Army, working with CH-47 and UH-1 helicopters. Agren holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kaplan University and a Lean Blackbelt certification from the Six Sigma Academy.
