Ryan Peterson started their work experience in 1998 as a Summer Intern at General Motors. Ryan then worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of Michigan Microwave Geophysics Group from 2000-2001. In 2001, they joined Motorola as a Summer Intern, where they developed methods for measuring dielectric constant and designed bandpass filters. From 2002-2006, they worked at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems as a Sensor Development Engineer. Ryan then became a Senior Systems Engineer from 2006-2008 and finally a Principal Systems Engineer from 2008-2012. Since 2012, Ryan has been working at SRI International as a Principal Research Engineer, leading teams in the development of RF sensor systems.
Ryan Peterson attended Troy High School from 1993 to 1997. Ryan then went on to the University of Michigan where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from 1997 to 2000. Ryan continued their education at the University of Michigan and received a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from 2000 to 2002.
