Britt Treece has a diverse work experience spanning more than two decades. They started their career as a Customer Service Representative at Boise Technology in 2000, followed by similar roles at Bridge Information Systems and Reuters in 2001 and 2002, respectively.

In 2002, Britt joined SAVVIS as an Edge Manager, where they provided tier 2 escalation support for managed systems customers and internal systems. They also performed system administration tasks and supported various operating systems. They later served as a UNIX Hosting TAC, providing tier 3 escalation support and troubleshooting server and network problems.

In 2005, Britt transitioned to the role of a UNIX Systems Engineer at SAVVIS, responsible for implementing client hosting solutions, conducting operational testing, and documenting new product releases. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Applications Engineer II, designing, testing, and documenting new products for SAVVIS.

Britt then moved to Scottrade in 2008 as a Senior Linux System Engineer. In this role, they provided advanced technical engineering and support for the Linux environment. They also established standardized operating system builds, created documentation standards, and worked on infrastructure projects.

In 2011, Britt joined the State of Missouri as a Systems Support Technical Lead, responsible for advanced technical engineering, monitoring, and support for the Red Hat Linux environment. They also acted as the technical lead for the Linux managed web hosting environment, utilizing various applications and tools.

Following their work at the State of Missouri, Britt joined PhishMe, Inc. in 2015 as a Production Engineer. Their responsibilities included administrative tasks related to the CentOS-based appliance, implementing AWS infrastructure using Terraform, and utilizing configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.

Most recently, Britt has been employed at Spreedly since 2017. They have held various roles at the company, starting as a Senior Systems Engineer, progressing to Staff Engineer and Technical Lead. They then became an Engineering Manager in the infrastructure department, overseeing the implementation of various improvements and being responsible for remote engineers' hiring, performance evaluations, and growth. Currently, they serve as the Director of Infrastructure and Principal Engineer at Spreedly.

Throughout their career, Britt has consistently demonstrated technical expertise, management skills, and a commitment to process improvement and team growth.

Britt Treece attended Truman State University from 1995 to 1997, although no degree or field of study information was provided. Following that, from 1997 to 1999, Britt studied at the University of Missouri-Columbia and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture with an emphasis in turfgrass management. In December 2017, Britt also obtained the certification of Sumo Logic Search Mastery Certified from Sumo Logic.
