PET Development Process Lead Engineer at ALPLA

Stevie Hudson has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. They started their career as a Maintenance Tech at Rheem/Nampak in 1989 and then served in the US Army Reserve as a Maintenance Tech from 1989 to 1995. Following that, they worked as an R&D Tech at T-Tech, Inc. from 1995 to 1998. From 1998 to 2011, Hudson worked at Graham Packaging as a Process Engineer, where they provided technical leadership, maintenance, and training to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. They then joined Baxter Healthcare as a Manufacturing Supervisor for Injection Molding from 2012 to 2013, where they were responsible for overseeing production, maintaining specifications and SOPs, and ensuring compliance with regulations. In 2013, they moved to Plastipak Packaging, Inc. as a Maintenance/Process Engineer for Sidel. They joined ALPLA in 2014, first as a PET Development Process Lead Engineer and then as a Process Engineer for the US Task Force SBM. Overall, Hudson has a strong background in maintenance, process engineering, and leadership roles in various companies.

Stevie Hudson's education history includes attending various institutions and pursuing different fields of study. Stevie first attended Coahoma Community College from 1985 to 1987, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. They then went on to study at IUPUI from 1992 to 1994, focusing on the same field of study. In 2004, Stevie enrolled at Clayton State University, majoring in Technology Management, and completed their studies in 2007. In 2012, they briefly attended Mississippi Valley State University, with a concentration in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Stevie ultimately completed their education at Indiana State University from 2015 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching.
