Dale Slear's work experience includes serving as the Chief Information Officer at Splash Wines since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the CTO/COO at Wine Awesomeness from July 2013 to December 2022. Dale also co-founded DojoMojo, an online platform that assists users in growing their email lists and increasing social engagement through sweepstakes and performance analytics. Dale was actively involved in DojoMojo from September 2015 to October 2017. Before that, Dale owned and operated Beat Copter Media, specializing in commercial video and web production, including pioneering drone photography/videography in South Carolina. Dale also served as a technology consultant at Coastal Urge in 2011, where they developed and integrated an online rental program. Dale's work experience further includes a role as West Coast Sales at Socci Sport from November 2007 to November 2010, and as a Lead Instructor Coordinator and Manager at Air Company, where they managed retail, rental, and lesson programs for kiteboarding.

Dale Slear earned a BA in German from the College of Charleston between 2003 and 2007. The degree focused on German history, business, and poetry.
