Shibu Thomas started their work experience in 2019 as a Software Engineer at TechHighbrows Software Solutions Pvt Ltd. Shibu worked in this role from June 2019 to January 2020. In 2020, they joined Spektra Systems as an Intern from July to October, and later transitioned to the role of a Software Development Engineer in November.

Shibu Thomas completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from HOLY KINGS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, MUVATTUPUZHA, between the years 2014 and 2018. Following that, they pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Software Engineering from BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes, starting in 2022 and expected to finish in 2024. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications, including "Big Data 101," "Blockchain Essentials," "Data Science 101," "Deep Learning Fundamentals," and "Python 101 for Data Science." These certifications were obtained from the institution Cognitive Class, with the most recent certification obtained in March 2022.
