Andrés Anxo Pérez Sánchez has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and software development. Andrés Anxo is currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at OpenSistemas since October 2021.

Prior to this, they worked at Cinfo Company as a Senior Big Data Engineer from February 2019 to October 2021. Here, they were involved in a Big Data Euskaltel project, where they managed VMware environments and handled tasks such as data intake and storage using MQTT, Spooldir, JDBC, and Apache Kafka.

From November 2017 to February 2019, Andrés worked as a Big Data Engineer at Barkibu. Andrés Anxo utilized AWS Amazon tools like Sqoop, Spark, Hive, and DataPipelines to intake data from external sources and carry out the ETL process. Andrés Anxo also used Lambda to automate processes at specific times.

Before that, they worked at Grupo Oesía from April 2016 to November 2017 as a Big Data Engineer. Andrés Anxo was involved in a Big Data INDITEX project, where they managed Hadoop environments and developed real-time processes using Kafka.

Andrés started their professional career at Enxenio as a Java Software Developer (FUAC Traineeship) from October 2015 to January 2016.

Prior to their professional career, they worked as a freelance web designer and developer from December 2012 to October 2015.

Through their various roles and projects, Andrés has gained expertise in data engineering, software development, and using tools and technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, AWS Amazon, and more.

Andrés Anxo Pérez Sánchez began their education in 2010 at the Universidade da Coruña, where they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Information Systems. Andrés Anxo completed their undergraduate studies in 2016.

In 2016, Andrés continued their education at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, where they completed a Master's degree in Big Data Analysis Technologies, specializing in Computer Engineering. This program lasted from 2016 to 2017.

In terms of certifications, Andrés obtained the following:

- In 2010, they received the CELGA 4 certification from Xunta de Galicia.

- In 2015, they obtained the Preliminary English Test (PET) certification at the Europe Level B1 from the University of Cambridge.

- In 2015, Andrés completed the Development Program of Professional Skills from the Fundación Universidade da Coruña.

- In 2016, they received three certifications from IBM: Big Data - Administration, Big Data Foundations, and Big Data Spark Foundations.

- In 2023, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.

These certifications provide additional knowledge and skills in areas such as big data analysis, administration, and cloud computing.
