Daniel Kienle is a Principal Scientist at Spectro Scientific since June 2021, with extensive experience in chemical engineering research and development. Previously, Daniel served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Colorado Boulder, where significant contributions included the immobilization of enzymes for explosive detection, development of advanced microscopy techniques, and creation of software that enhanced data analysis efficiency. Daniel earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, following a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. Daniel's research background is further complemented by experience as a Graduate Student Researcher and professional research assistant, alongside internships that involved designing and operating testing apparatuses for various chemical processes.
