Juan Gomez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and research, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Spectra Plasmonics since June 2022, where responsibilities include managing research labs, hardware design and development, and spectroscopic data analysis. Previous roles include Associate Researcher and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Queen's University, as well as Optical Engineer at Spectra Plasmonics, contributing to the development of a portable Raman unit. Earlier experience includes teaching assistantship at Queen's University and laboratory management at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Juan Gomez holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, complemented by a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
