Marko Häkkinen has extensive work experience in software development and architecture. Marko currently holds the position of Senior Software Architect at Aiforia Technologies since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Philips for three years as a Sr. Architect Advanced Development, where they were responsible for the end-to-end development of deep learning algorithms for radiation oncology products. Their role included system architecture, deep learning model development, and hands-on coding.

Marko also has a long history with Philips, starting in 2001. During their time there, they served as a Software Group Leader from 2012 to 2017, a Lead Software Engineer from 2002 to 2012, and a Diploma Thesis Worker from 2001 to 2002.

Before joining Philips, Marko worked as a Software Engineer Trainee at Marconi Medical Systems in 2000 and as an IT Support at Skanska from 1998 to 1999.

Marko Häkkinen pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the year 1996 to 2002 at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
