Brent Stead has a diverse work experience starting from 2005. Brent began their career at the University of Western Ontario, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2005 to February 2011. In 2013, Brent joined Therapure Biopharma Inc, initially as a Marketing Associate and later transitioning to the role of Business Development Manager from January 2015 to October 2018. Their most recent position was at Specific Biologics, where they served as the CEO and Co-Founder from November 2018 to the present.

Brent Stead's education history includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Western University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2011. Brent also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the Health Sector at the Ivey Business School, also at Western University, from 2011 to 2012.
