Vashty Tejada is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive experience in event management and restaurant operations. Currently serving as a District Manager at Specialty Restaurants since May 2021, Vashty previously held various managerial roles at Hyatt Hotels Corporation from October 2006 to May 2021, including Specialty Restaurant Assistant Manager and Event Services Manager at the Grand Hyatt New York. Early career experience includes positions as Event Setup Supervisor and Bartender/Banquet Server. Additionally, Vashty worked as a Restaurant Manager at Embassy Suites from March 2013 to April 2014. Vashty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from the University of Tampa, completed in 2011.
