K-Rob Thomas is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Vice President of Originations and Acquisitions at Southern Power since November 2020. Prior to this role, K-Rob held various leadership positions at Alabama Power Company, including Power Delivery General Manager and Transmission Construction General Manager, from March 2013 to November 2020. Earlier experience includes roles at Southern Company as Assistant to the Chief Transmission Officer, and multiple positions at Alabama Power and Mississippi Power, primarily focused on transmission lines and maintenance engineering. K-Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, obtained between 1996 and 2001.
