Nathan Kring is a seasoned professional in the instrumentation and control (I&C) field, currently serving as a Senior Instrument Technician and Nuclear Plant Instructor at Southern Nuclear since March 2017. Kring's extensive experience includes roles at International Paper, BASF, Scheck Technical Services Inc., Tennessee Valley Authority, Entergy, Florida Power & Light, and South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company, where responsibilities encompassed maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of various instruments and controls. Kring has a solid educational background with an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Chattanooga State Community College, complemented by specialized training from the Sequoyah branch of the National Academy for Nuclear Training.
