Derek Allison is an experienced education professional currently serving as an Associate Manager for the IBWS at the International Baccalaureate. With a significant background in soccer officiating, Allison also holds a position as a referee instructor and mentor for the U.S. Soccer Federation, and has served as a basketball and soccer referee in the South Carolina High School League. Previous roles include IB Diploma Program Coordinator and social studies teacher at Lexington High School, where contributions included leadership, community outreach, and teaching various IB courses. Notable achievements include being named LHS Teacher of the Year and officiating several championship games. Derek holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s Degree in Teaching and additional certifications in education and technology.
