Curtleigh Alaart is an accomplished professional with a strong background in international diplomacy and youth engagement. Currently participating in Investec's Navigate programme, Curtleigh was selected as one of 50 from 2000 applicants. As a South African Youth Delegate, Curtleigh represented South Africa at the G20 Summit in both 2023 and 2024, actively engaging in discussions on global governance reform and youth democracy. In the role of Partnerships Coordinator for the South African Youth for International Diplomacy, Curtleigh focuses on establishing collaborative initiatives with civil society organizations. Additionally, Curtleigh serves on the Youth Policy Committee at the South African Institute of International Affairs, coordinating events related to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Previous experience includes an internship at the European Space Agency and participating as a Global Youth Ambassador for Theirworld, addressing education inequality in South Africa. Curtleigh holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Management and International Relations from the University of Pretoria, along with study abroad experience at Leiden University.
