Varun Gandhi is a Senior Software Engineer at Sourcegraph, where development of precise code indexers for various language ecosystems has been a key focus since October 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Apple from July 2019 to September 2021, where Varun contributed to the Swift compiler and improved developer experience and security on Apple platforms. Varun also interned as a Compiler Engineer at MathWorks in 2018 and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Cornell University, supporting courses in Introductory Mechanics and Electromagnetism. Varun holds a Master of Science in Physics from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
