Maxime Vallée, PhD, is a seasoned bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in various esteemed organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Bioinformatics Support Specialist at SOPHiA GENETICS since July 2022, Vallée previously worked as a bioinformaticien at Hospices Civils de Lyon from September 2019 to July 2022. Prior roles include positions as a bioinformatics scientist at the International Agency for Research on Cancer / World Health Organization from April 2018 to September 2019, and from July 2008 to November 2014. Vallée also held a position as a bioinformatics scientist at the Centre de recherche du CHU de Québec-Université Laval from December 2014 to March 2018. Vallée earned a PhD in bioinformatics from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 between 2008 and 2012, and holds an engineer's degree in bioinformatics and modeling from INSA Lyon from 2005 to 2008, along with foundational studies in biology and computer science at Université Grenoble Alpes from 2003 to 2005.
