Bassem Hallac serves as the Chemistry R&D Manager at Sonovia Ltd since March 2022, following a role as a Senior Researcher. Prior experience includes positions as Senior R&D Scientist at Nanomedic Technologies Ltd., R&D Senior Specialist, and Senior Process Development Chemist at Stora Enso, where Bassem focused on biomass separation, product development, and chemical reaction optimization. Bassem's earlier role as a Research Scientist at Virdia involved chemical research and process development for converting lignocellulosic materials into sugars. Bassem holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Chemistry and Computer Science from Gardner-Webb University.
